Marching to the Beat - Teacher's Notes

Samantha is becoming a very good drummer. But one day, she watches a Highland pipe band, and she knows she'd like to be part of a team like that. She is invited to join and learns the different techniques of her new drum. When Sam's team get invited to perform at a very special event, one which tickets have sold out for long ago, and one which Sam's dad would give his right arm to attend, Sam gets a spare ticket. But will she give it to Dad, who really doesn't like the pipe band? Reading Age 10–11 Years.
